The Paramount Chief of Kpembe Traditional Area Kpembewura Ndefuso Banbange (IV) has urged all his chiefs to make sure former president John Dramani Mahama is declared victorious in the general elections on 7th December 2024.
The Kpembewura said this at his Palace when the former President and NDC Flagbearer John Dramani Mahama paid a courtesy call on him and his chiefs on the first day of his 2-Day tour of the Savannah Region on Saturday 5th October, 2024.
The Paramount Chief of the Kpembe Traditional Area said the people of Gonjaland must support their own in the 2024 general elections.
He said; “victory is ours in Gonjaland and so we must support our own to be declared victorious. You are my son and I believe victory ahead of you”
He added that the Member of Parliament (MP) and parliamentary candidate of the NDC for Salaga South Constituency Hajia Zuwera Ibrahima is very hard working and need to go with her senior brother John Dramani Mahama because he the Paramount Chief can attest to the fact.
Kpembewura Ndefuso Banbange (IV) further said when John Dramani Mahama wins the elections, he should make sure the people of Gonjaland get their share of the national cake.
Kpembewura added that the people of Gonjaland must make sure the election is very peaceful.
John Dramani Mahama is on a 2-Day tour in the Savannah Region with the General secretary of the NDC Mr. Fifi Fiave Kwetey, Mr. Joshua Alabi and the Regional executives of the NDC in the Savannah Region.
