The Member of Parliament (MP) for the Damongo Constituency and Minister for Lands and Natural Resources Hon. Samuel Abu Jinapor has donated a brand new pickup to the the Paramount Chief of th Busunu Traditional Area Busunuwura Monasa Jonokpowu (I) today 4th August, 2024.
The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for West Gonja, Mr Karim Musah Kusubari presented the pickup on behalf of the Damongo MP to the Busunuwura.
According to the MCE, the vehicle from the Damongo MP to the Busunuwura is to facilitate to the development and smooth administration of the Busunuwura’s palace interms of the transportation needs of the palace.
Busunuwura Monasa Jonokpowu (I) expressed his deep appreciation for the MP’s generosity and commitment to the welfare of the development of the Busunu traditional area
He mentioned that the vehicle will greatly assist in addressing various logistical challenges faced by the Busunu traditional council adding that the MP’s ongoing efforts to support the constituency in such contributions significantly impact the lives of the people.
The donation of the pickup truck is part of Hon Samuel Abu Jinapor’s broader initiative to support the traditional authorities and the communities within the Damongo Constituency.
The Damongo P has always reiterated his commitment to working closely with local leaders and the people to identify and address the pressing needs of the area. He assured the people of Busunu and the entire constituency that he would continue to champion their interests and seek avenues for development and prosperity.
