The Member of Parliament (MP) for Sawla-Tuna-Kalba, Hon. Andrew Dari Chiwitey has said the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Parliamentary Candidate for Sawla-Tuna-Kalba constituency, Ankaara Sankara is telling voters within the constituency to vote for he Ankaara Sankara and John Dramani Mahama in the upcoming general elections.
The MP made those remarks after a well attended program organised at Tuna dubbed ” 24Hr Health Walk” on Saturday 10th February, 2024.
Hon Andrews Chiwitey added that, his main opponent has passed a vote of no confidence on his own Presidential candidate Dr. Mahamud Bawumia with his campaign message and therefore entreated the people of Sawla-Tuna-Kalba Constituency to retain he (Andrews Chiwitey) as their MP and H.E. John Dramani Mahama for massive development.
The Media Relation officer of the organising committee of the Health Walk, Mr. Kipo Elijah Bakari added that, the event was a strategy to welcome the massive defectors from the NPP to the NDC of Sawla-Tuna-Kalba.
The program was attended by some executive members from both the region and the Constituency.
The Constituency Chairman, Alhaji Osman Salia added that, due to the ungratefulness of the NPP to its members, his administration will be fishing more of the NPP members into the NDC net.
