The former Constituency Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) for the Bole-Bamboi Constituency Mr Zakaria Sulemana has said that based on some happenings within the NPP in the Bole-Bamboi constituency he can confidently say all things are not well.

The former Chairman made this comment when the former constituency executive caucus of the NPP in the Bole-Bamboi Constituencyn organised a get-together party at the Wuripe and Sons Royal Lodge on 16th May, 2023, to celebrate the birthday of the former Chairman Mr Sulemana Zakariah.

Speaking to Bole based Nkilgi fm Mr Sulemana Zakaria said he is very excited with the support the former executive still has for him and added that they held a meeting before the get-together party to sort out some issues with regards to the party and also reunite themselves to see how to break the 8 in the 2024 general election.

The former Chairman when asked by Nkilgi fm reporter whether he still has the ambition to contest again for the chairmanship position, he said he is waiting on the former executives and the party elders to decide for him and if they decide for him to contest again, then he will think about it.

He however said he will rather prefer to move ahead instead of still going back to battle for the Bole-Bamboi constituency chairmanship.

He further said that the NPP has not less than seven (7) aspiring for the flagbearship position and he can only decide to back anyone who has better policies for NPP and Ghana at large.

He concluded that he has been a Chairman before and has led the people well but for some reasons he was voted out.

Mr Zakariah said the NPP must break the 8 at all cost and all hands must be on deck for the NPP to break 8.

The former Women Organiser of the NPP for Bole-Bamboi Constituency Hajia Mariama Amoro said they came to support their former chairman to celebrate her birthday day.

She added that they have worked for the party for so many years and thought they would have retained them in the just ended constituency elections but people used money and they were voted out.

Hajia Mariama pleaded with delegates who will be voting on for the presidential and parliamentary not the consider money and even if they will give them money, they should try and vote for people who can help break the 8.

A polling station executive of NPP in the Bole-Bamboi Constituency Mr Abdallah popularly known as “Decator” said when chairman Zakaria Sulemana was the chairman of the party in the constituency, he helped them a lot and if the have nothing to pay back, they have to always support him making themselves available anytime he needs them.
