Mr Samuel Aboagye who went unopposed as the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Parliamentary Candidate for the Obuasi East Constituency of the Ashanti Region has pledged to ensure former President John Dramani Mahama equally gets a 100% endorsement in the constituency.
Speaking to Bole based Nkilgi Fm he said; ”John Dramani Mahama will surely get 100% endorsement in my constituency since he is the surest bet going into election 2024”.
Samuel Aboagye who contested as the NDC Candidate for the Obuasi East Constituency in the 2020 Parliamentary elections also promised to win the seat with all that he can including the massive support from the party grassroots in the constituency.
He said he is privilege to be among six (6) other constituencies in the Ashanti Region that has candidates going unopposed and therefore assured the people of the constituency that they should vote massively for him and do away with the NPP come 2024 since he is the best alternative for the Obuasi East constituency to bring development and jobs especially to the youth of the area.
Samuel Aboagye added that his agenda of establishing a Nursing Training College and working with local groups in the area to make sure their concerns are addressed is very much still number in his agenda.
He therefore appealed for massive support from the constituents to vote for him since winning the seat and making the John Mahama lead the NDC is what is his focus now.
85 candidates were vetted in the Ashanti Region in the 3-day vetting processes including 71 Males (83%) and 14 Females (16%) with Six(6) Constituencies producing unopposed aspirants who have been declared elected in accordance with section 12.5 of the party guidelines.
