The Member of Parliament (MP) for Damongo Constituency and Minister of Lands and Natural Resources Hon Samuel Abu Jinapor has donated a hearse to the Larabanga community in the West Gonja Municipality of the Savannah Region.

The Damongo Constituency Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Alhaji Adam Braimah who handed the hearse to the chief Imam of Larabanga on behalf of the MP commended the MP for always making sure Larabanga is always attended to anytime the community seeks for his support.

He said the community earlier had a similar donation from the MP but the vehicle developed a fault and had the engine broken down completely.

Alhaji Adam Braimah said the community had to rely on Motorking vehicles to convey the dead to the cemetery for burial anytime the unexpected happens.

He said it was later decided that the engine of the broken vehicle had to be replaced but the Damongo MP opted for a new hearse when his attention was drawn.

Alhaji Adam indicated again that Larabanga is the first community in the Constituency to benefit from an AstroTurf through the Damongo MP among other projects that he has pushed to the community making him a household name in the area.

He used the opportunity to further thank him for the donation which has started serving the very purpose it was brought in to execute.

Alhaji Adam who himself a native of Larabanga on behalf of his people thanked Hon Jinapor and assured him of always having the support of the community who are always grateful for his efforts in the development of the Damongo Constituency.
