,Management of the plush and prestigious Wuripe and Sons Royal Lodge popularly called ‘Bole Dubai’, on Friday 22nd, October 2021 made donations to the Paramount Chief of the Bole Traditional Area to support this years Damba festival.
The donations made include many cartons and packs of soft and hard drinks, packs of voltic water and an undisclosed amount of cash in a fat envelope.
Speaking to Bolewura Sarfo Kutuge Feso (l) and his Sub- Chiefs at his Palace, the General Manager of Wuripe and Sons Royal Lodge Mr Richard Atchor said the donation was from the Chief Executive Officer of Wuripe and Sons Mr Adams Wurip and his wife to Bolewura and his Chiefs to help them in this year’s Damba festival.
Richard Atchor added that, the donation was a sign of appreciation to Bolewura for granting them the honour to build the Lodge on his land and that as part of their social responsibility, Wuripe and Sons will always support issues of development in the Bole Traditional Area.
Bolewura Sarfo Kutuge Feso (l) thanked the Management of Wuripe and Sons Royal Lodge for the donation.
He prayed for God’s guidance and protection for Mr and Mrs Wuripe and the entire management team and workers.
Bolewura Sarfo Kutuge (I) said Wuripe and Sons Royal Lodge has demonstrated that, they are in Bole for development. He said the donation was the first of its kind in the Bole Traditional Area.
The Bolewura used the opportunity to launch the Bole Damba carnival ‘T’ Shirt.
The celebration of this Year’s Annual Damba Festival of Bole is schedule to take place from Thursday 28th October to Saturday 30th October 2021 in Bole.
The Theme for the Occasion is “Promoting Culture and Heritage, the Role of Traditional Authority”
Some Activities include Kutuge Feso inter School Brain Battle Quiz for Junior High Schools; Damba Float and Wuripe Damba pool Party.
Traditional activities to take place are the Picking of Rice on Thursday 28th October, 2021; slaughtering of Damba cow and Overnight Damba dance on Friday 29th October, 2021 and the Grand Durbar and Sharing of big TZ on Saturday 30th October, 2021
Meanwhile same Saturday 30th October, 2021 is the Wuripe Damba Jams at night at Wuripe and Sons Royal Lodge.
Many prominent politicians and individuals have been invited for the Bole Damba.
