The Member of Parliament (MP) for Bole-Bamboi and Deputy Minister for Lands and Natural Resources, Hon. Alhaji Yusif Sulemana, has expressed strong optimism about the transformation of Bole. He stated that by the time President John Dramani Mahama completes his upcoming term in office, Bole will witness massive development, describing the town’s future as comparable to that of Dubai in terms of progress and infrastructure.
According to him, President Mahama has outlined a robust development plan specifically tailored for Bole, which will bring significant improvements in roads, education, healthcare, and job creation.
The MP made this comment during the Commissioning of the Savannah Regional DVLA office at Bole last week.



Speaking on developmental interventions in the Bole-Bamboi Constituency the MP said;
“I spoke with the SNNIT Boss and he is coming to open an office in Bole here very soon.
“I spoke with the EPA Boss and the Minister Responsible for Environment and they have asked me to submit CV’s and I’ve done and so very soon they will recruit people from Bole and Savannah Region and they will come and open the EPA office in Bole”.
“The Mineral Commission office in Bole will be opened very soon
“I cannot mention the number of organisations that are getting ready to come and establish offices in Bole.
“When I say Bole, say this is the time!
“We have been starved for a very long time and God has blessed us and H.E. President John Dramani Mahama is now the President.
“I was with him (President) last night and he reiterated that Yussif Chache on the border with Ivory Coast to Bole will be asphalted.
“He (President Mahama) told me that from Bole through Kiape to Sonyo to Grupe will be worked so that when is going to Tamale he wouldnt have to pass through Sawla again.
“He (President Mahama) understands the needs of his home constituency very well”
“Pumptech Ghana is coming to give a small Water project to Bamboi very soon.
“The he (President Mahama) asked; what about the Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) project at Tinga and I said GETFUND will work on it.
“GETFUND was at the Bole Secondary and the work that was left undone would be completed. Two dormitories for males and females will be constructed …about 7 projects will kick start very soon at the Bole Secondary School.
“Then we went to the Bole Nursing and Midwifery Training College and about 3 major projects will kick start very soon at the Nursing college and that is not all.
“We will also look at the abandoned Teacher Training College that H.E. John Dramani Mahama started in Bole- GETFUND will work on it as soon as possible.
“So many roads will be done in Bole town. next month the contractor is coming to Bole to start the major roads.
“What about the Techiman- Wenchi Bamboi- Bole- Tuna road? Insha Allah the Minister of roads was here to access all these roads and within the next two months the work will start- it’s been put under what we call the big push and so the roads Minister and H.E President Mahama will cut sod for the construction of that major road from Techiman to Bamboi to Bole to Wa so that the accidents we see rampantly will end and also the armed robbery cases will be a thing of the past.
“Let me also add that Minister of Communications has assured me that next two weeks they will come and work on all the areas that do. ot have communication networks and we are taking about Sonyo, Chache, Teselima etc).
“Banda- Nkwanta will you will get a befitting Polyclinic, the President is working hard to give Bole a befitting standard modern hospital.
“The people of Bole are ready for all government agencies who want to open their branches in Bole.
“All the people of Bole-Bamboi Constituency are ready to work any organisation that would want to come”.
“I have made a few calls and they are all sounding positive”; the Bole MP added
Alhaji Yusif Sulemana stated;
“I want touch ground, the conversation should end and let’s begin action because in the next four years Bole should be Dubai”.
He stated; “By the time H.E. John Dramani Mahama ends his administration we should be able to say that I’ve also been able to do this brighten his corner. This is where it all stated. He became the MP for this area and the people of this constituency accepted him, he became a Deputy Minister, to a Minister to Vice- President, a President who went and sat home and came back.
“So he is very grateful to the people of Bole and he has asked me that he will never renege on his promises and that he is committed to making Bole a place where everybody would want ti belong to.
“I want to appeal to the people of Bole especially the youth, that there will be so many jobs and some of you would start moving from one job to the other”.
The MP for the Bole-Bamboi Constituency Alhaji Yusif Sulemana appealed to those who have been employed at the Bole DVLA office to be professional.
He said; “Don’t say because I’m a native of Bole, the office is here in Bole and so I come to work anytime..they have their rules and regulations and if you don’t follow them, they will sack you and I will support them.
“We will not waste time and we will not want to regret after he (President John Mahama) had left office”.
