The Queen Mother for Dua or Banda Nkwanta in.the Bole Traditional Area, Dua-Wurche Hajia Jara has donated some education learning materials to some clusters of schools at Banda Nkwanta under the Bole Traditional Area
The materials she donated to the schools include ober 3,000 exercise books, packs of marker pens, packs of pencils, erasers, mathematical sets, kids writing slates, notebooks, Teachers lesson Notebooks, A-4 sheets, Elementary books, sharpeners and others.


Speaking to Bole based Nkilgi fm, the development oriented Queenmother of Dua or Banda Nkwanta Hajia Jara who donated the materials with the Dua-Wura Amankwa Kassim Boresa said it has been her habit to always help the younger ones because they will take over from them after their time.
She said last time she donated sanitary pads and other items to some of the female students and this year she came with learning materials and has taken note of some of the challenges they are facing in the schools and when the need be, she will help them address all.
Dua-Wurche Hajia Jara said as a mother, she is always available to help any ward because she knows how it takes to take care of children in school from the infantry age till they get to the level where they can take care of themselves.
Mr Jacob Gbolo Dindaa who is the Secretary of the Dua-Wura Amankwa Kassim Boresa and who spoke on behalf of the Dua-Wura said he is grateful to their Queen Mother for that gesture and prays if more comes for her to still remember the schools in the community.
He also urged the teachers to make good use of the learning materials the Queen Mother brought because it has been brought to make an impact.
Mr Jacob Gbolo Dindaa who is the Secretary of the Dua-Wura Amankwa Kassim Boresa urged the students not to concentrate on the mining in the community but focus on their education to become future leaders of the district and Ghana at large.
The Assemblyman for Banda Nkwanta electoral area, Hon. Mbema Mohammed said he is present to see how excited the students were when they were presenting the learning materials to them.
He thanked the Queen Mother for always remembering the community anytime she has anything sharing on her palm.
Hon. Mbema Mohammed said the last time the Queen Mother came to support the students, she came with sanitary pads to support the female students and this year she came with plenty of books and other learning materials.
He said this will motivate some of the female students to know that the female gender is so important in society.
The Assemblyman for Banda Nkwanta added that the paramount challenge the Schools in the community are facing is furniture. He said he last went to the Assembly to lobby for furniture and he got only 89 and they gave to only one school and still praying they will get more for the other schools and any philanthropists can also come to their aid.
Mr. Amadu Mahama who is a teacher in the Banda Nkwanta circuit said they are very happy for the donation from the Queen Mother of the community and asking for more as Oliva Twist because they still need chairs.
