A total of fifteen (15) known National Democratic Congress (NDC) stalwarts in the Bole-Bamboi constituency of the Savannah Region have applied for the Bole Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) position.

Vetting of these applicants is expected to take place soon and out of the 15 applicants for the position three names will be shortlisted by the vetting committee for President John Dramani Mahama to make the final selection.

The NDC has already issued a directive to guide the appointment process for MMDCEs across the country.

The directive issue by the General Secretary of the party, Fifi Fiavi Kwetey, mandates the establishment of Regional Vetting Committees to ensure a transparent, balanced, and merit-based selection of candidates.

The NDC directive stated; “Due consideration must be given to the customary, geographical, and ethnic composition of each district to ensure a balanced distribution of political power and influence”.

Many in the Bole Municipality have called on President John Dramani Mahama to appoint an MCE who will be accessible and who will help drive development in the Bole Municipality.

The applicants for the position of Bole MCE are the current Secretary of the NDC for the Bole-Bamboi Constituency Mr Augustine Jimah; the former Secretary of the NDC for the Bole-Bamboi constituency Mr Asumah Abdulai aka Abdulai Allah; the current Presiding Member of the Bole Municipal Assembly Mr Adams Dramani Deen and the Assemblyman for the Tesilima Electoral Area of the Bole Municipality
Mr David Bii Jimah.

Others are the former DCE for Bole Mr James Jaaga; the current Youth Organizer of the NDC for the Bole-Bamboi Constituency Mr Dodovi Eche Joshua; the former Assemblyman for Maluwe Electoral Area of Bole Municipal Mr Alidu Sumani and a former Tutor at the Bole Senior High school and the number one NDC Serial Caller on Radio stations in Bole Mr Daniel Malsep.

Some other applicants are a former NDC Zongo Caucus Cordinator for the Bole-Bamboi Constituency executive Mr Adams Sulemana Pizarro; the Secretary of the Council of Vagla Chiefs Mr Jacob Kuubu Ahia; former Assemblyman for Doli in the Bole Municipality and a Brifor language Presenter of Bole Nkilgi Fm Mr Jorobon Paul.

The rest are the current Assemblyman for Bale Electoral Area in tbe Bole Municipality Mr Kawuro David; a former Assemblyman for Tinga and a branch Secretary of NDC for Tinga Mr Hudu Adam; an NDC branch Youth Organise for Tinga and the Manager of the Tinga Community Water System Mr Sanuo Emma Abubakari and an NDC Activist from Bamboi Mr Abdulai Mahamud.
