The Member of Parliament (MP) for the Bole-Bamboi Constituency Alhaji Yusif Sulemana has on 7th November, 2024 donated working tools worth close to GHs100,000 to some artisans in his constituency who are in need to start their own shops.

Speaking to Bole based Nkilgi fm, the spokesperson for the MP for Bole-Bamboi Constituency Mr Tahiru Iddisah Omega who did the donation on behalf of the MP said since the MP was elected in 2016, he has been lobbying to get support for his constituents because they are the people who made him what he is and he is always ready and available to work for them.

He added that, through the hard work of the MP, he has been able to lobby and secure some funds to procure working machines and tools for some hairdressers, barbers, weavers, dressmakers, motor fitters and rearers.

Mr Tahiru Iddisah Omega added that before Alhaji Yusif Sulemana brought those items, they selected the beneficiaries has been sent to the business Advisory Center (BAC) and they trained them for some weeks and also provide them with certificates.

He said the beneficiaries include 15 hairdressers, 7 barbers,1 weaver, 24 dressmakers, 2 motor fitters and 1 rearer, all got their working machines and certificates.

He said Alhaji Yusif Sulemana prompted the leaderships of all the artisan associations and they selected those who benefitted from the MP’s support and they were 50 beneficiaries in total.

Mr. Tahiru Iddisah Omega urged the people of Bole-Bamboi Constituency to vote massively for John Dramani Mahama as president and retain Alhaji Yusif Sulemana as their member of Parliament because they have the people of the constituency at heart.

He said Alhaji Yusif Sulemana is an opposition MP now and all can imagine if John Dramani Mahama become a president again and he is retained as an MP, what the people of Bole-Bamboi Constituency will get.
