The Member of Parliament (MP) for the Bole-Bamboi Constituency, Alhaji Yusif Sulemana on 5th October, 2024 urged the Paramount Chief of the Kong Traditional Area of Gonja Kongwura Jinkurge (I) to use his revered tradition skin to appeal to the Electoral Commission of Ghana to be fair and transparent in the conduct of this year’s elections in order to avoid any form of violence or chaos.
He added that even though the NDC and John Dramani Mahama are for peace, they will not tolerate any unjust treatment from the EC.
Alhaji Yusif Sulemana made these comments when he represented H.E. John Dramani Mahama at this year’s Damba Durbar of the Chiefs and people the Kong traditional area on Sunday 5th October, 2024 at Kong in the Sawla-Tuna-Kalba District of the Savannah Region.
The Bole MP added indicated the people of Kong that John Mahama’s government will continue the abandoned electricity project he started in the community before leaving office in 2016. Jira “your road will be worked on, you will get a health centre, your people will benefit from his farmer centre policy and many more.”
