The Member of Parliament (MP) for the Bole-Bamboi Constituency Alhaji Yusif Sulemana on 20th August, 2024 visited the St. Anthony of Padua Senior High School (SHS) in Bamboi and made a pledge to hand over some 50 pieces of student mattresses to the school after it has one of its dormitories burnt, the school management appealed to him to support the school with some food stuffs to augment the support from government.
Alhaji Yusif Sulemana pledged to deliver some support to the school at a later date.
On 11th September, 2024, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) constituency Chairman for the Bole-Bamboi Constituency Alhaji Alhassan Kassim together with the spokesperson to the Bole MP, Mr Tairu Omega on behalf of the Bole MP handed over some food items to the Headmaster of the school in fulfilment of the pledge made by him.
The food items included; 10 bags of rice, 2 bags of maize, 1 bag of beans, 1 bag of gari, two 20ltr gallons of cooking oil and a bull.
The Headmaster of the St. Anthony of Padua SHS in Bamboi who received the items on behalf of the school expressed his sincere appreciation to the honourable MP and encouraged others to emulate the generosity of the Bole-Bamboi MP.
