Hon. John Abdulai Jinapor, the Member of Parliament (MP) for Yapei-Kusawgu Constituency, has launched a GHc150,000 initiative to support tailors, dressmakers, and hairdressers in the Central Gonja District.
The project, which includes the distribution of 120 sewing machines and 100 hair dryers, was launched in Yapei with an initial donation of 20 sewing machines and 10 hair dryers and um undisclosed cash amount to the beneficiaries.
The MP affirmed that the remaining equipment would be distributed across the Constituency, benefitting towns like Mpaha, Buipe, Sankpala, Kusawgu, Fufulso, Kegberpe among others.
Hon Jinapor also used the opportunity to inspect the ongoing construction of an ultra modern community centre in Yapei township.
