The Assemblyman of Sindaa Electoral Area in Sawla town Hon Sinkina Saaka has donated food items to windows and vulnerable women in his electoral area as part of activities marking this year’s Christmas.
In a brief ceremony at Sawla, Hon Sinkina Saaka, a Co-opted NDC Savannah Regional Executive member said, festive seasons gives us the opportunity to share with love once, he said although he went unopposed in the just ended District Assembly elections but together with his unit committee members, they deem it fit to share their widow’s mite to the venerable in society.
He said Education, Health, Water and Sanitation and Security are his code target areas.
The Sawla Sindaa Assemblyman added that he would form a vigilante group in his electoral area to reduce crime.
The told Nkilgi fm that, he would put up a scheme in place to support the best female and male BECE students in his electoral area.
He used the opportunity to thank the opinion leaders, all stakeholders and electoral area members. The items include Rice, oil and and undisclosed amount.
The beneficiaries of the donation expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the honorable Assembly Member and his unit committee members for the kind gesture. They used the opportunity to appeal for more support from other benevolent individuals and organizations since they are widows and vulnerable women.
