The Member of Parliament (MP) for the Damongo Constituency and Minister for Lands and Natural Resources, Hon Samuel Abu Jinapor has donated a Navara 4X4 pickup vehicle to the Savannah Islamic Council in Damongo.
The vehicle which was handed over to the council by the Municipal Chief Executive for the West Gonja Municipal Assembly by Mr Karim Musah Kusbari on Thursday April 27th, 2023 at the Office of the Member of Parliament indicated that the council had earlier appealed to the MP for the support of acquiring a vehicle for them and also to put up the regional council office complex.
Hon. Kusubari indicated that the MP assured the council that he will do everything possible to assist them and true to his words, the pickup is ready and handed over to them, adding that the member of parliament has still not forgotten about the office complex which in no time will also commence.
He appealed to the Muslim Ummah to always pray for the Damongo Constituency MP since he has a lot for the not only Damongo but the entire Savannah Region.
Sheik Abubakar Kayila on behalf of the council thanked the Damongo MP for the kind gesture done them. He said the Hon Jinapor is doing the work of God by remembering them always.
He assured the the MP for Damongo that the vehicle would be used for it’s intended purposes and that Hon. Jinapor will always be remembered for his support towards the growth of Islam in the region.
