The Assemblyman for the Bole Nyimange electoral Area in the Bole District Hon Issahaku Alhassan, the has bemoaned the unsatisfactory and interrupted power supply to his electoral Area, Nyimange the past months.
In a letter dated 18th April, 2023 and addressed to the Bole branch of the Volta River Authority (Northern Electricity Department- NEDCo), Hon Issahaku Alhassan stated that the unsatisfactory and interrupted power supply to Nyimange
started late last year till date without any better solution upon several verbal complaints from residents and customers.
He said the power at Nyimange usually goes off every night and restored the next morning which brings a lot of discomfort to residents and customers as their electrical appliances being destroyed.
Hon. Issahaku Alhassan said in his letter that reliable information from the field officers of the Volter River Authority (VRA) proved that this problem is emanating from an overloaded transformer (Market s/s) at the Bole Central Mosque.
Hon. Issahaku Alhassan therefore appealing to the Bole branch of Volta River Authority (VRA)
to assist in bringing an agent and lasting solution to the problem.
