The Bole District Community Foundation (LBG) has donated bags of rice and bottles cooking oil to some widows and vulnerable women in the Bole District of Savannah Region to enable them prepare for the end of Ramadan feast of Muslims.

Speaking to Bole based Nkilgi Fm, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for the foundation Mr. Emmanuel Jimah said, the donation is a gesture that was
started since last year to support some Communities, the vulnerable women and widows.

Mr Emmanuel Jimah added that, as part of the District Community foundation’s humanitarian services, the foundation considered vulnerable women and the less privileged in the community to support them to prepare towards the end of Ramadan (Idul- Fitr) festivity.

Accordingly to Mr Jimah, members of the foundation went round communities to appeal for fund to help the less privilege and also bring smiles on to their faces as everyone will be preparing food in their homes during this period.

He said, they had 10 bags of rice and 10 bottles of cooking oil and pray next year they should get more support to give more than that.

He thanked the people of Bole and it environs and the Zambarma and Moshie communities.

Two of the beneficiaries Madam Amamata and Madam Fati on behalf of all the beneficiaries thanked the Bole District Community Foundation (LBG) for the kind gesture.
