President and Paramount Chief of the Buipe Traditional Area, Buipewura Abdulai Jinapor (II) has disclosed to the Muslim Community of Buipe that he will make sure a big Mosque is built in the Buipe township to be able to accommodate all Muslims.
Buipewura Jinapor on Friday 7th April 2023 at the Jinapor Palace as part of activities marking his 75th birthday anniversary made the comment when addressing Muslim Leaders in his traditional area.
He urged them to continue to pray for the development of Buipe and Gonjaland.
Buipewura Jinapor (II) said, Buipe has over 65 smaller mosques and thay there must be a bigger one for all Muslims, adding that he is overwhelmed by the special prayer session held in his honour by the Muslim clerics on the his 75th birthday anniversary.
He urged them to also pray and continue to emphasize the word of God as since that is the only way to live in peace and harmony with the fear of God amongst the people.
The Imams of Buipe prayed for Buipewura Jinapor (II) for all that the has achieved in life and also to continue to live in good health in the years ahead and further prayed to God for the the peace and development of the Buipe traditional area.
More than 300 Muslim Leaders were at the Buipewura’s Palace to pray for him. They observed the Maghrib prayer at the Jinapor Palace after breaking their fast at the same venue.
