A group of young men and women known as “The Corporate Friends of Hon Yusif Sulemana” on Friday 24th February, 2023 handed over an amount of GHc40,000 to the Member of Parliament for the Bole-Bamboi Constituency at his office in Accra.
The amount, according to the PRO of the group Alhaji Aseaku was to fund the payment of the Bole MP’s filing fees, as part of the NDC’s requirements to enable one qualify to contest in the upcoming May 13th parliamentary primaries of the party across the country.
According to Mr Alhaji Aseaku, the membership of the group comprises; young men and women who the Hon MP helped secure various jobs in different establishments across Ghana and beyond as well as his business friends.
Mr Alhaji Aseaku also added that they, “The Corporate Friends of Hon Yusif Sulemana” have for a very long time been discussing how to show their appreciation to Hon Yusif Sulemana for his immense contribution in making them who they are today.
They therefore saw the need to show the MP their utmost appreciation.
The group further assured the MP of their continued support going into the future. This, they said, will encourage the Hon MP to continue to touch lives of young men and women in his constituency and above just like he did to theirs.
On his part, the Bole-Bamboi MP thanked the group for their kind gesture and also assured them of his resolve to keep supporting the youth to grow. He said, words were not enough to express how grateful he was to the group; and that God will bless them and replenish them a million fold.
