Mr Malik Basintale who is an Aide to the Member of Parliament (MP) for the Yapei- Kusawgu Constituency of the Savannah Region has denied a viral write up that has been attributed to the MP Hon John Abdulai Jinapor.

In response to the write up which was widely shared on social media, Mr Basintale thinks also the National Democratic Congress Communication officer for the Savannah Region wrote; “Dear Comrades, Kindly Note that any official statement from Hon John Abdulai Jinapor will be copied on his official Facebook wall. Thank you”.

The MP for the Yapei- Kusawgu constituency of the Savannah Region Hon John Abdulai Jinapor purportedly said money cannot influence some of them but they were helpless because there is too much vested interest within the NDC caucus in parliament.

John Jinapor who was a Deputy Minister of Energy under former President John Dramani Mahama’s government allegedly made these comments because of the unending confusion in the NDC over the approval of Ministers-designate who the party leadership felt did not merit to be approved after their vetting.

Meanwhile Bole based Nkilgi Fm’s enquires indicate the Yapei- Kusawgu MP made the comment on a closed WhatsApp group of NDC MP’s and even though what he said was not meant for public consumption the write up got leaked.
