The Former Member of Parliament (MP) for the Damongo Constituency, Hon. Adam Mutawakilu has disclosed to National Democratic (NDC) party faithfuls that President Nana Akufo- Addo looked very sad and dejected on the day of his swearing in because he knows what is ahead of him.

Hon. Mutawakilu in an address at the Damongo lorry station on 8th January, 2020 after members of the NDC had a peaceful demonstration to register their displeasure on the outcome of the 2020 Presidential elections which is currently being contested in court by former President John Dramani Mahama and the NDC.

The former Damongo MP described Nana Akufo Addo as worried man because he knows he will soon leave the Presidency after the courts final decision which he is very optimistic President Mahama will win and be sworn in as the President.

He added that the rate the NPP had made them passed anything that was brought on the floor of the house which led to over spending will also cease since the NDC has an upper hand now in the house with Hon. Bagbin incharge of the house making the president very sad and unconformable on the day of his swearing in.

Hon Adam Mutawakilu becomes the silence of the President on the killing of about eight people including an eleven year old girl in Savelugu after the elections.

He used the opportunity to thank the people of the Damongo Constituency for giving him the opportunity to serve them and promised to work extra hard towards developing the constituency.
