The General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr Johnson Asiedu Nketiah will be in the Savannah Region for a two day tour on Thursday 4th June, 2020 and Friday 5th June, 2020.
His first point of call on Thursday 4th June, 2020 will be the Salaga South Constituency of the Region where he will pay a courtesy call on the Kpembewura and his Chiefs; meet with the Council of Imams and Muslim Chiefs in Salaga and then meet with the Christian Clergy NGO’s and other Civil Society Organisations. Still in Salaga Mr Aseidu Nketia meet with NDC Constituency Executives, Youth & groups and Communicators and also have a Radio interview on Kanyiti Radio in Salaga.
The NDC General Secretary will then move to the Salaga North Constituency where he will pay a courtesy call on the Kakpandewura and His Elders and then meet with NDC Constituency Executives, Youth & groups and Communicators.
On Friday 5th June, 2020 the NDC General Secretary will continue his tour of the Savannah Region at Buipe in the Yapei-Kusawgu Constituency where he will pay a courtesy call on the Buipewura and His Elders and then meet with NDC Constituency Executives, Youth & groups and Communicators.
From Buipe the NDC General Secretary will move to Damongo where he will pay a courtesy call on the King and Overlord of Gonja (Yagbonwura) and His Elders; meet with the Bishop and Council of Churches leaders; meet with NDC Constituency Executives, Youth & groups and Communicators and then have a Radio interview.
From Damongo the NDC General Secretary will move to Sawla in the Sawla-Tuna-Kalba Constituency of the Savannah Region where he will meet with the Sawlawura, Imam and Elders and then move to Bole for a Radio interview on Bole based Nkilgi FM.
On Saturday 6th June, 2020 Mr Aseidu Nketia will move to Kong in the Sawla-Tuna-Kalba Constituency where he will visit the Kongwura and His Elders before moving to a different part of the country.
