The King and Overlord of Gonja Yagbonwura Tutumba Boresah (I) has enskinned
Miss Boresah Iddisah popularly called Queen Boresah as Nkiligiwurche (Queenmother for development) of the Savannah Region.

Nkilgiwurche Boresah was enskinned at the Jakpa Palace by the Yagbonwura during the 10th anniversary celebration and Annual Damba of the Yagbonwura at the weekend.

Nkiligiwurche Boresah is a grand daughter of the late Sawlawura Iddisah Jeduah of the Safope gate of Bole.

Her enskinment as the Queenmother for Development took place at a colourful ceremony and supervised by the Sonyowura who is a kingmaker of the Gonja Kingdom.

Paramount chiefs, Queenmothers across Gonjaland were present during the enskinment ceremony of Nkilgiwurche Boresah.

The Chief linguist of the Yagbonwura, Alhaji Afuli Losina called on all the paramount chiefs from the seven gates of the Gonja kingdom to give the newly enskinned Nkilgiwurche their ultimate and maximum support to help in the development of the Gonja kingdom and also raise high the flag of the Kingdom.

Mankumawurche, who is the seniormost Queenmother of the Gonja Kingdom in an address urged Queenmothers across the kingdom to support the newly enskinned Nkilgiwurche Boresah after giving her blessings and support to the new Queen and pledged to guide her to make the kingdom great.

Nkilgiwurche Boresah formerly known as
Queen Boresah is the founder of the Boresah Royal Foundation, a charitable organization with the vision of putting smiles on the faces of all including the promotion of human dignity especially the girl child in Savanna region and beyond.

Her passion is to assist the under privileged and vulnerable persons in society, hence her foundation serving as a platform to alleviate poverty in the society.

The Nkilgiwurche is also the National Speaker of Ghana Youth president, a reality TV show that seek to unearth youth leaders, an initiative of Youth leadership Parliament.
