A former Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) for the Damongo Constituency and defeated Savannah Regional Chairman aspirant Nana Kwame Aboagye has urged all party members who contested for positions from the polling station, Constituency and Regional levels not to turn back on the party because the interest of the party is bigger than their personal wishes.

Nana Kwame Aboagye said in a statement issued today 20th May, 2020 that; “Many contested pulling station and lost, many contested constituency and lost, many contested Regional positions and lost, as well as National executive positions. I want to plead with all of us who lost at any level to respect the decisions of our beloved delegates and continue to do our best for the party”.

The former Damongo Constituency NPP Chairman said exactly a year ago today the distinguished patriots and Kingmakers of NPP made a tough decision on who leads the NPP in Savannah Region and he in particular accepted the decision taken by delegates whole heartedly.

“I thank the Almighty for given me the strength to continue my work as a Patriot even more stronger”; he said.

He encouraged the Youth of the NPP to continue have patience. “Our energetic youth who are still unemployed should be patient”; he said.

He further said;
“Our gallant Patriots and financiers who worked and sponsored the party in opposition but have still not been able to get even a single contract to compensate their efforts should not be discouraged. I plead with them to continue their good works to help us secure another victory”.
